Flagship Product - Digital PCR
We fundamentally reduced the cost of consumables.
We can generate nanoliter-scale droplets using standard pipette tips (0.3 mm or larger), and we define this technology as Macro-Fluidic Microdroplet Technology.

Innovation
A completely different technology lineage
Macro-FDG is not an iteration of existing dPCR systems. It uses an active acoustic jetting principle built around standard-scale tips.
Innovation
dPCR for Everyone
Digital PCR has long been powerful but expensive, locked into proprietary consumables, and limited to low-throughput use. Yuanzan changes this with a completely different technology lineage.
When consumable cost drops by 20-40x per sample, the economic barrier to absolute quantification disappears.
With 48-sample throughput and walk-away automation, dPCR becomes a practical daily lab tool.
The workflow avoids proprietary chips, locked reagents, and forced service contracts.
Millimeter-scale channels are physically resistant to clogging with challenging clinical samples.
We are open
Our qPCR is open at every layer
Most qPCR systems on the market are closed off — proprietary consumables, bundled computers, closed algorithms. We take the opposite approach: open at every layer, so your lab keeps control of cost, workflow, and data.
Consumable Freedom
Compatible with any brand of 0.1/0.2 mL tubes, 8-strip tubes, and 96-well plates. No proprietary plastics. No premium consumables.
No Bundled Computer
Built-in 9″ touch screen and embedded computer. No separate PC needed. VQ-200 offers USB/RS485 for custom integration.
Open Analysis Algorithm
Not a black box. Acquisition parameters and algorithms can be customized for specific reagent kits. Custom reports. LIMS integration.
Automation Ready
Motorized lid, auto-loading chamber, USB/RS485. Ready for robotic integration and dark-lab environments.
Technology
We use standard-scale nozzles to generate nanoliter droplets
Our digital PCR platform generates nanoliter droplets through a macro-fluidic nozzle rather than complex microfluidic chips. A piezoelectric stack produces precise displacement, transfers it through drive oil as an acoustic pressure wave, and creates a controlled micro-jet at the nozzle tip for stable droplet formation.

Core Features of Digital PCR

01
Acoustic coupling
Near-rigid pressure-wave transmission moves through the drive oil with microsecond-scale delay, giving the nozzle a fast and repeatable actuation signal.
02
Active recoil
A reverse acoustic wave sharpens droplet break-off and suppresses satellite droplets, improving the consistency of each partition.
03
Variable impedance compensation
Adaptive frequency and voltage control keep the jetting state stable as the fluid load changes during droplet generation.
04
Weber number control
Waveform shaping controls dV/dt so droplet size remains stable and less dependent on small variations in tip geometry.
