Ruijin-CEIBS-Ganzhou Hospital Director Advanced Program Launches: Setting New Standards for Public Hospital Training
To support the 'Healthy China 2030' strategy, enhance county-level medical services, and achieve universal health coverage, the Ruijin-CEIBS-Ganzhou Hospital Director Advanced Program was established under the guidance of Chen Zhu, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and CAS Academician. This collaborative initiative brings together Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Ganzhou Health Commission, and Xinhua News Agency National Brand Project Office. Leveraging the combined strengths of Ruijin and CEIBS in healthcare, education, research, informatization, technology transfer, and innovation, the program aims to elevate the capabilities of senior hospital management professionals in Ganzhou. Tailored specifically for Ganzhou's healthcare sector, this program provides targeted support for medical and health services development in this revolutionary base area, transferring cutting-edge medical technologies and management concepts from the Yangtze River Delta region, building a robust medical management team, and substantially improving healthcare quality for local residents. Staying true to our founding mission and shouldering our responsibilities, we strive for the welfare and health of the people, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding.
The 3-day program will be held at CEIBS Shanghai campus and Ruijin Hospital. The program is co-directed by Ning Guang, CAE Academician and President of Ruijin Hospital; Wang Hong, President and Professor of Management at CEIBS; and Zhu Xiaoming, Professor of Management and Former President of CEIBS. Distinguished faculty members include: Ding Jian, CAE Academician and Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UCAS; Prof. Chen Erzhen, Vice President of Ruijin Hospital; Prof. Hu Weiguo, Vice President of Ruijin Hospital; Prof. Gao Jiechun, Director of the Hospital Management Institute at Fudan University; Prof. Xu Su, Deputy Director of Shanghai Medical Reform Office; Wu Huanyu, Deputy Director of Shanghai CDC; Prof. Yu Guangjun, President of Shanghai Children's Hospital; Prof. Zhan Jifu, Director of Sanming Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee; Dr. Peng Dezhen, Founder and Chairman of Shanghai Yuanzan Life Science Co., Ltd.; Dr. Dai Kunyi, Founder and CEO of Hangzhou Newnew Technology; Lu Le, Founder and CEO of First Response; and Yuan Tao, Chairman of Zhangjiang Group.
The launch of this program owes much to the strong support from students of the first through sixth cohorts of the CEIBS Smart Healthcare Entrepreneurship Program. According to Professor Zhu Xiaoming, 'The CEIBS Smart Healthcare Entrepreneurship Program has now reached its sixth cohort, evolving from a model where professors impart knowledge to one where students give back to the institution. Dr. Peng Dezhen from the first cohort exemplifies this as an outstanding contributor of resources, expertise, and mission-driven support. This program pioneers a dual-cycle model of teaching and reciprocity in business education, enabling entrepreneurs to explore ways of helping others succeed on their own entrepreneurial journeys.'
